The dialogues are written pretty well,I enjoyed the game and especially the sweet route where we could be with Kei;he is the only one I found 'normal', among the three,it sure was sweet! :3

im not sure if this is on purpose but everything seems to freeze when we're in the flowerfield with kei. other than that amazing game, i absolutely love it and although i love kei more i think chihayas representation of a "yandere" is more accurate and in-depth
This game is absolutely beautiful and well made, the characters are described perfectly. Conveying how they quietly manipulate the person (mc) playing. I actually will say kei is my favorite. He silently eliminates and shows his possessive side and as far as I know. He doesn't physically or verbally hurt us!! And as for inori, he's just unstable and hides it really well^_^! Though for chihaya he's on my watchlist, I don't know how I feel about him. He truly is the worst guy out there brings back memories of my past experience.
I love how well-written this is, my favourite would probably the nougat route since it portrayed a realism when it comes to relationships and it really resonates with me! the vibe and aesthetic is just my cup of tea. and I love your art style sm ever since I played the mad room too! more otome visual novels to come please!

uhm no, Kei-kun's storyline implied he transacts flesh for career opportunities with powerful people in the industry like the director. The bastards cheated with women but the tsundere probably did way more betrayals
I mean it's more like he forced himself to join the dirty side of the entertainment business for a long term connection or sth to support his career (could consider him as a victim of a power dynamic in workplace too) so that he can continue to be a star that MC would be so proud of, but he never did enjoy it. MC is the only one he feel safe (and also eager///) to touch and get touched, the guy disgusted everyone in this world but her. He actually tried to avoid getting touched by his co-actress in the party and also ask the director to cut off the kiss scene. I mean some ppl could consider it as physical cheating but I just personally saw that this psychopath doormat just want to do everything for MC with no care for any methods.
In the other hand, Chihiro cheated because of lust and selfish reasons.
well you just have a different definition of cheating, that is. To me, doing that and convincing himself that he did it for love was a form of mental drug to coddle his perception, which does not affect the state of reality that he has betrayed. the relationship was never opened, so if MC had known it they would have taken it as cheating.
I really enjoyed this game! It's really cool to see the dev jump to a much bigger project than their first one, I even bought the extra content pack with the manga and extra scenes (mostly for Chihaya, my hot scumbag). Very polished and nice art (the Chihaya over MC's shoulder one has me in a chokehold plz help). But I can't for the life of me figure out how to exceed 88% completion for both types of endings even though I think I got 1-7 on each. Sadly, I'll have to wait until someone figures it out for me.
The only flaw is the length of the game itself being too short imo. Or maybe that's just me being too big of a fan and wanting more lol, but I feel the stories of Kei and Chihaya deserved more time to shine and Inori could barely make an appearance.
(Sugary Route) Kei's story is so sweet and filled with a lot of "I love you"s, I'm sure many will like that, but I was having the most fun seeing his dark/controlling side and wish there was more of that to balance the mood of the story. I understand that the dev wanted to explore two contrasting extremes, but I feel a true balance would have been better narratively. The contrast will still exist with how the oppositely relationships appear on the surface compared to how it is deep down.
(Nougat Route) As for Chihaya, the gap between the last choice and the start of the best ending feels so stark, it was like their relationship took a total 180 and I didn't see how it changed so much instantly. In the route itself, like the opposite of Kei, I wish we saw more of the sweeter side of how much he actually loves the MC but is too broken to show it properly. For balance! Since I need some sweetness or else the bitter abusive parts are hard to enjoy. It took some interpretation on my own end to justify how they got there and even that was with the help of the content outside the route.
ALSO for Chihaya, I need warn my fellow english speaking players who have a clear expectation of what a stereotypical "yandere" bf is like, Chihaya is NOT that (Kei is). He doesn't eliminate any love rivals, and he doesn't get mad at other men so much as he lashes out on the MC herself. It's just a abusive relationship. But hey, he's hot af and I was still invested ^^;
SPOILERS for those who don't understand how Chihaya's best ending happened and want to hear an explanation: The character intro says that he's controlling bc he's self-conscious and he spent the entire game wondering why the MC doesn't break up with him. So when she ran away but comes back, it proved to him that no matter how undeserving of her he acts/feels, she really does belong to him and he is able to be happier in the relationship knowing that their bond is secure. The MC is overly dependent on a bad man, but that dependency makes him treat her better when it was severe enough. Overall a bad relationship, had really rough times, but came out a bit healthier in practice even though at its core it's two broken co-dependent people who 'love' each other very much.
I was having a hard time empathizing with Chihaya's character but your explanation about Chihaya's best end actually makes so much sense. Of course I still hate him and I still think he's a scumbag but I think I understand him and his motivations a little better now. Thanks for this!
i love it. The character designs are rlly nice, the plot of each boys made the game even more interesting. The music is so pleasant & vibes with the scenario. Even the designs are cute, like a cafe selling different kinds of candies to choose from. At first, it was getting hard for me to get the endings & i wanted to find a guide. But then i press TAB and brought me to the event chart. That's where i realised there is a guide in the game already, what an angel the creator is haha.
This are my opinion about the boys:
Kei-Kun: He is such a sweetheart, love him a lot. And my favorite boy out of them 3. It's sad to see his backstory turned out like this, he doesn't want us to go because we're his last hope. It's nice to know that he'll eliminate anyone that gets in our way. Chihaya-kun: Scary but w/ a soft spot! I like his design tbh, but is a scumbag who gets mad at the mc because of an old memory. (-1 point) Its funny seeing how he did "it" with natsu but still thinks about us in the moment. 1+ point. Inorin: Least favorite.. not because he has less cgs, but his ending hurt me. We barely got some time & it just ended cus he overthink of us wanting our ex bf bck? Bro even kick us out, not cool!! But he is really pretty.

I was just confused that why when we in the "break up" route, why did he agree with it? Can someone explain his emotion or thinking at that time? Like, is he at that time no longer love us?
If you do Chihaya's best ending, you sort of learn that he feels the MC deserves better than him. He's still possessive nonetheless and desires the heroine to an unhealthy level, but he's aware he's scum. I think in the ending where the two break up, it's implied that he lets her leave for those reasons. I may not be entirely right, but this sounds the most plausible to me.
I love the BGM is so relaxing, and the character are so CUTE!!! Although in some option during inori route when you choose to return home the text immediately change to japanese when I choose english!!!

This game was strangely beautiful, but certainly one of the few visual novels I've experienced where I felt emotionally impacted. I'm not quite sure how to put it into words, but I enjoyed the changed perspectives with each route, and it opened my mind to the thoughts of the love interests we were presented with while also helping me sympathize with the heroine (who was admittedly quite pitiable throughout the Nougat routes). The music chosen for each scene only sweetened (haha so funny) the stories for me, especially the best endings, which I felt deeply conveyed a sense of bittersweet romanticism. I'd definitely play this game again, over and over. For something free, it feels like such a steal, and I look forward to any future projects the developers may conjure up.

Review aside, Kei was definitely my favorite! Though, it was quite hard not to fall in love with him for obvious reasons. His devotion to the heroine made me kick my feet and giggle. His final two CGS were absolutely gorgeous, and I adored the painterly vibes they emitted as I felt the fit the scenes they were put into! Though his dynamic with the heroine is slightly unhealthy in it's own right, based off the 5B ending, I hope that in the future the two are headed towards an even brighter end.
As for the other two, Chihaya and Inori, I found myself to be equally intrigued by both. Chihaya's devotion to the heroine was quite interesting, and how his 'yandere-ness' was shown/displayed in comparison to Kei's made me raise an eyebrow. That said, Chihaya's design is really my type. He's scum, but his piercings and long hair really appealed to me...
Now, for Inori, he felt super mysterious! Unlike the other two where we could easily understand their emotions, he came off as extremely closed-off in spite of his cheery demeanor. This isn't a bad thing, however, as I actually found his mystery to be endearing!!!

A friend recommended me this game and I'm happy to say I've fallen in love. I've only played through sugary so far and have unlocked 94% of the events in the route...(idk how to get that last 6%). I fell in love with Kei at first sight, he's so sweet and broken and adorable, I cant help but want to make him happy! Kei's endings were so beautifully written and each one has it's own depth and impact, especially ending 5B. The way everything was revealed was done amazingly, in a meaningful way showing how significant mc is to kei and the reasons for it. Truly a beautiful game<3 I can't wait to play nougat! Thank you for gifting us this masterpiece!
(slight spoilers)I also hope that one day kei realises mc's undying love for him and shows his 'ugly side' to her, not that he even has an ugly side in the first place<3 He deserves to see that he's loved and cared for and that mc will always accept him.

This game has my HEART<3! I’ve been trying to get all my friends into it, too! It’s so immersive, the characters designs are amazing, too! I love the extras, I’ve probably been on at least 20 dates with Inori-kun-…(Don’t ask) Overall, one of my favorites if not my favorite!

It’s really amazing and impressive, and totally beyond my expectations. Although the emotions of the characters are complex, the narration expresses them well. I enjoyed a lot experiencing different choices and endings. The BGM is nice too~

While trying to get Chihaya's Ending 5 using the "happy" -> "ask" -> "continue" -> "accept" -> "return" choice path, the entire scene back at MC and Chihaya's home was still in Japanese for me (I'm playing in English on Windows 10). I remember there was also a single untranslated line in Kei's best ending (when MC was about to enter the theater).

He is less irredeemable than Chihaya but more harder to handle, but still Chihaya's design is the hottest for me, damn... I got a thing for dark-looking person with so many earrings okay? FUCK YEAH EMO BOYS (btw, Kei-kun is still the one who deserved Nozomi the most, like their dynamic and stuff)

Cant believe I'm reviewing the game so soon after it published but it is such a work of art. The art style is a 10/10 as well as the development of the characters. Every single choice does matter which I love bc simply choosing one different choice from the previous run unlocks so many more cut scenes in depth of the characters. Each guy u can be with is so different not just personality wise but as well as the way they show their love to the MC. From the design, music, plot, and characters this is definitely going to be one of my new favorites. my personal favorites were inori's scenes and kei's true ending.

i get a similar thing! i was playing the Bitter story on browser, and i got an error trying to achieve ending three, which was the only one i had left... it glitches at the choice where you "return home" from Inori's. So i downloaded the windows version to try to fix it. Update: sorted! it seems the last part to ending 5 where you return home, isn't wholly translated and it appears in japanese. maybe that's why the browser bugged?
All this aside, i am really liking this game and looking forward to getting all the endings! The characters are super charming, and i like where the stories go a lot.

i dont remember when i got his bonus story exactly but i remember having it unlocked after i finished all his endings, he has like 6 or 5 endings. :3

I mean it's more like he forced himself to join the dirty side of the entertainment business for a long term connection or sth to support his career (could consider him as a victim of a power dynamic in workplace too) so that he can continue to be a star that MC would be so proud of, but he never did enjoy it. MC is the only one he feel safe (and also eager///) to touch and get touched, the guy disgusted everyone in this world but her. He actually tried to avoid getting touched by his co-actress in the party and also ask the director to cut off the kiss scene. I mean some ppl could consider it as physical cheating but I just personally saw that this psychopath doormat just want to do everything for MC with no care for any methods.
In the other hand, Chihiro cheated because of lust and selfish reasons.
well you just have a different definition of cheating, that is. To me, doing that and convincing himself that he did it for love was a form of mental drug to coddle his perception, which does not affect the state of reality that he has betrayed. the relationship was never opened, so if MC had known it they would have taken it as cheating.
Agreed, it was super sad to read the bitter story and hoping young girls don't actually romanticize it 🥲
Warning: Long review.
I really enjoyed this game! It's really cool to see the dev jump to a much bigger project than their first one, I even bought the extra content pack with the manga and extra scenes (mostly for Chihaya, my hot scumbag). Very polished and nice art (the Chihaya over MC's shoulder one has me in a chokehold plz help). But I can't for the life of me figure out how to exceed 88% completion for both types of endings even though I think I got 1-7 on each. Sadly, I'll have to wait until someone figures it out for me.
The only flaw is the length of the game itself being too short imo. Or maybe that's just me being too big of a fan and wanting more lol, but I feel the stories of Kei and Chihaya deserved more time to shine and Inori could barely make an appearance.
(Sugary Route) Kei's story is so sweet and filled with a lot of "I love you"s, I'm sure many will like that, but I was having the most fun seeing his dark/controlling side and wish there was more of that to balance the mood of the story. I understand that the dev wanted to explore two contrasting extremes, but I feel a true balance would have been better narratively. The contrast will still exist with how the oppositely relationships appear on the surface compared to how it is deep down.
(Nougat Route) As for Chihaya, the gap between the last choice and the start of the best ending feels so stark, it was like their relationship took a total 180 and I didn't see how it changed so much instantly. In the route itself, like the opposite of Kei, I wish we saw more of the sweeter side of how much he actually loves the MC but is too broken to show it properly. For balance! Since I need some sweetness or else the bitter abusive parts are hard to enjoy. It took some interpretation on my own end to justify how they got there and even that was with the help of the content outside the route.
ALSO for Chihaya, I need warn my fellow english speaking players who have a clear expectation of what a stereotypical "yandere" bf is like, Chihaya is NOT that (Kei is). He doesn't eliminate any love rivals, and he doesn't get mad at other men so much as he lashes out on the MC herself. It's just a abusive relationship. But hey, he's hot af and I was still invested ^^;
SPOILERS for those who don't understand how Chihaya's best ending happened and want to hear an explanation: The character intro says that he's controlling bc he's self-conscious and he spent the entire game wondering why the MC doesn't break up with him. So when she ran away but comes back, it proved to him that no matter how undeserving of her he acts/feels, she really does belong to him and he is able to be happier in the relationship knowing that their bond is secure. The MC is overly dependent on a bad man, but that dependency makes him treat her better when it was severe enough. Overall a bad relationship, had really rough times, but came out a bit healthier in practice even though at its core it's two broken co-dependent people who 'love' each other very much.
you can exceed 88% completion in the nougat route by playing through chihaya and inori's another story/bonus story. :33
I was having a hard time empathizing with Chihaya's character but your explanation about Chihaya's best end actually makes so much sense. Of course I still hate him and I still think he's a scumbag but I think I understand him and his motivations a little better now. Thanks for this!
i love it. The character designs are rlly nice, the plot of each boys made the game even more interesting. The music is so pleasant & vibes with the scenario. Even the designs are cute, like a cafe selling different kinds of candies to choose from. At first, it was getting hard for me to get the endings & i wanted to find a guide. But then i press TAB and brought me to the event chart. That's where i realised there is a guide in the game already, what an angel the creator is haha.

I was just confused that why when we in the "break up" route, why did he agree with it? Can someone explain his emotion or thinking at that time? Like, is he at that time no longer love us?

If you do Chihaya's best ending, you sort of learn that he feels the MC deserves better than him. He's still possessive nonetheless and desires the heroine to an unhealthy level, but he's aware he's scum. I think in the ending where the two break up, it's implied that he lets her leave for those reasons. I may not be entirely right, but this sounds the most plausible to me.
I love the BGM is so relaxing, and the character are so CUTE!!! Although in some option during inori route when you choose to return home the text immediately change to japanese when I choose english!!!

This game was strangely beautiful, but certainly one of the few visual novels I've experienced where I felt emotionally impacted. I'm not quite sure how to put it into words, but I enjoyed the changed perspectives with each route, and it opened my mind to the thoughts of the love interests we were presented with while also helping me sympathize with the heroine (who was admittedly quite pitiable throughout the Nougat routes). The music chosen for each scene only sweetened (haha so funny) the stories for me, especially the best endings, which I felt deeply conveyed a sense of bittersweet romanticism. I'd definitely play this game again, over and over. For something free, it feels like such a steal, and I look forward to any future projects the developers may conjure up.

Review aside, Kei was definitely my favorite! Though, it was quite hard not to fall in love with him for obvious reasons. His devotion to the heroine made me kick my feet and giggle. His final two CGS were absolutely gorgeous, and I adored the painterly vibes they emitted as I felt the fit the scenes they were put into! Though his dynamic with the heroine is slightly unhealthy in it's own right, based off the 5B ending, I hope that in the future the two are headed towards an even brighter end.
As for the other two, Chihaya and Inori, I found myself to be equally intrigued by both. Chihaya's devotion to the heroine was quite interesting, and how his 'yandere-ness' was shown/displayed in comparison to Kei's made me raise an eyebrow. That said, Chihaya's design is really my type. He's scum, but his piercings and long hair really appealed to me...
Now, for Inori, he felt super mysterious! Unlike the other two where we could easily understand their emotions, he came off as extremely closed-off in spite of his cheery demeanor. This isn't a bad thing, however, as I actually found his mystery to be endearing!!!

A friend recommended me this game and I'm happy to say I've fallen in love. I've only played through sugary so far and have unlocked 94% of the events in the route...(idk how to get that last 6%). I fell in love with Kei at first sight, he's so sweet and broken and adorable, I cant help but want to make him happy! Kei's endings were so beautifully written and each one has it's own depth and impact, especially ending 5B. The way everything was revealed was done amazingly, in a meaningful way showing how significant mc is to kei and the reasons for it. Truly a beautiful game<3 I can't wait to play nougat! Thank you for gifting us this masterpiece!

This game has my HEART<3! I’ve been trying to get all my friends into it, too! It’s so immersive, the characters designs are amazing, too! I love the extras, I’ve probably been on at least 20 dates with Inori-kun-…(Don’t ask) Overall, one of my favorites if not my favorite!

While trying to get Chihaya's Ending 5 using the "happy" -> "ask" -> "continue" -> "accept" -> "return" choice path, the entire scene back at MC and Chihaya's home was still in Japanese for me (I'm playing in English on Windows 10). I remember there was also a single untranslated line in Kei's best ending (when MC was about to enter the theater).

He is less irredeemable than Chihaya but more harder to handle, but still Chihaya's design is the hottest for me, damn... I got a thing for dark-looking person with so many earrings okay? FUCK YEAH EMO BOYS (btw, Kei-kun is still the one who deserved Nozomi the most, like their dynamic and stuff)

Cant believe I'm reviewing the game so soon after it published but it is such a work of art. The art style is a 10/10 as well as the development of the characters. Every single choice does matter which I love bc simply choosing one different choice from the previous run unlocks so many more cut scenes in depth of the characters. Each guy u can be with is so different not just personality wise but as well as the way they show their love to the MC. From the design, music, plot, and characters this is definitely going to be one of my new favorites. my personal favorites were inori's scenes and kei's true ending.

i get a similar thing! i was playing the Bitter story on browser, and i got an error trying to achieve ending three, which was the only one i had left... it glitches at the choice where you "return home" from Inori's. So i downloaded the windows version to try to fix it.
Update: sorted! it seems the last part to ending 5 where you return home, isn't wholly translated and it appears in japanese. maybe that's why the browser bugged?
All this aside, i am really liking this game and looking forward to getting all the endings! The characters are super charming, and i like where the stories go a lot.
